I love helping people through transitions.

Life transitions can be painful and difficult to navigate, but they can also be beautiful moments of growth. I love helping people along the transition sections of their journey. Whether it be transitioning into parenthood, through relationship changes, or into recovery I would be honored to walk with you on part of your journey.
I specialize in perinatal mental health, meaning mood issues during or after pregnancy, pregnancy loss, infertility, and adoption planning. I also have extensive experience working with new parents who need some support getting their “parenting sea legs”.

I do my best to live my life through an anti-oppressive/anti-racist lens. This of course shows up in the therapy work I do. I am always striving to learn more and shift how I view healing, healthcare, and systems in general. I welcome all types of people into my space and am here to have the sometimes hard conversations around these pieces of our identities.

Along with the above specialties I am also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) a specific way of resolving and healing from trauma. One of the primary approaches I use to therapy is called Internal Family Systems (IFS), which is a non-pathologizing way of deepening our understanding of ourselves and our healing process.

You can read more about IFS here: IFS

I hope this has been helpful for you to learn more about me. If you want some more “real life” experiences of me head over to my In The Media page to read some of my interviews and watch me on WLOS.
